Most alien/human romances are what I like to refer to as dirty erotica. Meaning there is a bazillion sex scenes that all end in even more orgasms for the female.. this one is not like that at all. There is a review for the second book from someone claiming she was disappointed that the alien/human still have not had sex by book two, (there are three books right now the 4th and final book hasn't been released yet). Personally speaking, I really liked that it wasn't constant sex. There are TONS of alien/romances out there that are like this and it's refreshing to read an alien/human book not filled with constant orgasms. But that doesn't mean the characters don't have a ton of sexual tension.. Which they do. Sexually, it was satisfying enough for me.My only real complaint with book one is that there is NO description of what the hell Wyser looks like.. It drove me nuts. Hannah we know has strawberry blonde hair with green eyes and Wyser thinks she's beautiful. but nothing about Wyser, (did I miss it somewhere?). In book two we are finally given a (good) description of what he looks like.. I just feel like that should have been done in book one because the entire time I'm trying to picture him and "good looking, handsome, hot etc" wasn't enough for me and drove me nuts. There is another situation, (in book two) where the heroin is eating and two alien men stare at her. She asks them if something was wrong and they tell her nonchalantly that, "no, we just haven't seen a woman eat like that"... well there isn't any description of HOW she was eating.. Some books over describe and it's annoying, (and boring).. then there are books that are the complete opposite and this series sort of borders on that, (it's not completely awful though.. just a rare annoyance here and there but I felt it was worth mentioning and I based my rating on that alone).Oh the author DOES use BOOBS . For me it makes the Hero sound like a immature creeper.. thankfully it was used only once but my six year old son goes around calling them boobs and it just.. I don't know.. tits, breasts, etc.. are more attractive than...... boobs lmao. Boys.. ::sigh::There is also the insta-love. I know a lot of people HATE insta-love.. I'm not one of them, especially when it's a book about fantasy. It's about aliens.. you can't go around accusing how unrealistic it is for them to fall in love so fast when it's a book about aliens, (that goes for vampires, shape shifters.. YADDA YADDA YADDA). I roll my eyes every time I read someone's review on how they couldn't find the romance realistic enough with these type of books.. UH.. no offense, (okay take offense) but the entire story is unrealistic if you want to get technical. I'm not saying I don't believe in Aliens.. I feel ignorant assuming we are the only ones in the universe... but as of right now aliens aren't "real" and neither are vampires and werewolves/whatever-other-animal-that-floats-your-boat.Now for the complaints and rating a book because they are tired of authors breaking up books into smaller books.. While I agree with their aggravations, my rating has nothing to do with that fact, I only want to say to those who feel that way you should look into getting Kindle Unlimited.. I understand authors want to be paid for their work. I make things for a living too and you should always stick by and charge what you feel is worth the time you spent away from family/life to make it, (your time should never be free).. I get it.. I just can't afford it and that's why I love it when authors who do write serials have the heart to include it in KU for us poor folk who love to read stories. I would be more inclined to spend $$ on this book if it was at least 250pgs for $3. I could live with that.. But I could not justify $1 for less than 40pgs and then be "forced" to buy two or more books at the same price, (or more) equaling to at least 120pgs for $3, to finish the story. Which is why if you feel that way you should really look into getting KU. With that said. I only read this book because it was part of KU. I would not have bought it otherwise, (due to my reasons).. This story was very enjoyable and I found the characters, (all of them) likable. I plan on reading the authors other books in KU.

By Sheryl Mansfield This is a fiction story that jumps in an era where in earth there are humans and other species called Noxiums. The story started off with a narration by Hannah Nichols, the female lead character, a daughter of Eli Nichols, the man who had a long hatred towards Noxiums since the death of his wife. As his daughter, Hannah has a responsibility to keep distance from Noxiums and if possible, spy them.Moving forward, the next chapter was narrated by Wyser, a Noxi with attractive appearance and has crush on Hannah. The story goes with narration by both lead characters took place exchangeably. I like the idea of how the author mixed the conflict of love and hatread between human and alien here. Moreover, the story is intriguing as I felt not satisfied when I reached the end of the book.I want to read the next book!

Ruth Anne Scott has done a great job of weaving a story together from two different perspectives. Come along for the ride of a lifetime where anything goes and people show there true nature. Some maybe jealous and others may just be mean! Want a quick read a great laugh this is the book for you!
