About the Author Laurie Driesen is a writer, entrepreneur, and business owner. In her book, Beyond Regret, she uses examples from her own life to demonstrate how she has been able to get past regret and live out her life purpose in spite of mistakes and detours in her past. Beyond Regret is based on Biblical truths and explains how God uses the complex maze of our choices to work together for good in our lives. The book examines regret from many angles, including missed opportunities, how regret can help us, and how to have an "investment" view of life. Laurie Driesen has a background in Sales, Human Resources, Recruiting and Retail Management. She has spent over 15 years placing jobseekers with corporate clients and providing outplacement and coaching services. She has a passion for studying the Bible and has led many small group Bible Studies. Her writing includes newsletter articles on subjects including Hope, Perseverance, Grace, Relationships, and Christian Growth.

This Book Can Help By ReadsStuff I found this an extremely helpful and insightful book that I can see many people of different backgrounds and walks of life enjoying. It is told from a Christian perspective with reassuring statements that will help you move beyond the pain and regret you feel and into a better understanding of your own personal relationship with God. On the other hand, it offers several practical tips that would help even if you aren't a Christian. I think if you are struggling with regret and perhaps angry at God or fallen away from Him a bit because of your life circumstances, you'll find something here that will speak right to your heart.

The book contains deep principles that will change your perspective, give you hope, and change your life! "Beyond Regret" is well written and enjoyable to read. I love the author's honesty and humor. So, read this book... you won't regret it!

Laurie writes from the heart with an earnest yet comfortable ease. She overcame more than most and those experiences gave her stories and themes real credibility. If you have spiritual doubts or problems or simply need God's help in this crazy world, read Laurie Driesen's book. A great way to rekindle faith.
