After trumpets of the apocalypse proclaim the fall of humanity, vampires arise from the shadows to rule the earth. Yuichiro wants just one thing—to get revenge by killing each and every vampire. Yuichiro has no memory of his terrifying but temporary transformation into a one-winged monster during the battle for Shinjuku. The widely feared leaders of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, however, take note of his squad’s unusual talent. Despite the unwanted attention, Yuichiro’s resolve to save Mika from the vampires crystallizes as his real training in demon possession and manifestation begins.

There really isn't much to say based on that a previous reviewer already nailed the key points that i was going to explain. More information on the Hiragi family and their worth to the demon army. Also more information on the true reason for the orphanage that Mika and Yu stayed at. Fascinating stuff if i must say so myself. There is also a mini poster that is included but .. it was very small because of the size of the manga. I just left it inside because of the size and i didn't want to ruin the book.Only Con just like other manga is that the manga can be read in a hour to an hour and a half . Which can be a huge let down if the volume barely covers any information . But this delivered wonderfully. I recommend picking this up if you are a fan of the series you will not be disappointed.

The World Expans Greatly In This Volume By Talvi Seraph Of The End picks up steam as the movers and shakers of the human world (the Hiragi family) make their appearance. We learn more about the 'orphanage' from which Yu and Mika emerged - and things are not as they seem. But mostly, volume 5 was interesting to see the interaction of Guren Ichinose and his unique demon (and its connection to the Hiragi family). The first few volumes of the series felt more like introductions - the usual training up and minor skirmishes. But volume 5 greatly opens up the world more and the layers in the story are starting to emerge. I'm looking forward to volume 6! Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.
