David Adams, a scientist discredited throughout his life; laughed at and turned away by his colleagues, family, and friends for his pursuit to harness and control the power of nuclear fusion. He finally discovers this secret himself and constructs his own spacecraft. With nothing but resentment for his fellow man, he takes off in his little ship to fulfill his lifelong dream to explore the wonders of the universe. However, his little ship is intercepted by an incredible alien vessel assigned to keep outside civilizations from attempting to obtain the greatest fortune in the universe. A treasure that exists upon the land of only one planet in the entire universe; Earth. This book also deals with how some of our present day scientists still conclude that human beings only utilize between ten and fifteen percent of our brain cells, and the remaining eighty five to ninety remain dormant.

I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued by the story. It could've been longer, and a few times it was a bit too sentimental, but overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it. I will be reading other works by this author.

I expect to see great things from him in the future. Although this story is labeled Science Fiction, it only takes place in space. It is a wonderful story about friendship and the greatest treasure in the universe: the part of our brains that we dont use which has in it the most wonderful treasure in the universe.

Ruskin, the great Victorian critics of art and society, had an enormous influence on his age and our own. A highly successful propagandist for the arts, he did much both to popularize high art and to bring it to the masses. A brilliant theorist and practical critics of realism, he also produced the finest nineteenth-century discussions of fantasy, the grotesque, and pictorial symbolism.

Most who have written about this outstanding Victorian polymath have approached him either as literary critics or as art historians. In this book, which was first published in 1985, George P. Landow provides a more balanced view and offers a strikingly new approach which reveals that Ruskin wrote throughout his career as an interpreter, an exegete. His interpretations covered many fields of human experience and endeavour, not only paintings, poems, and buildings but also contemporary social issues, such as the discontent of the working classes.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. An excellent introduction to the Ruskin way of seeing By Shalom Freedman This book opens with a short biography of Ruskin, without going into in detail the difficulties of his life. It focuses on his way of seeing things, his path in perception in Art and Social Criticism. Landow claims that Ruskin thought by seeing and in this seeing also saw the symbolical and mythological meanings he valued in Art. Landow discusses Ruskin's championing and promoting of the work of J.M. Turner. He often cites that complicated Ruskin prose style which supposedly influenced among others Proust. He outlines Ruskin's social thought, his concern for the poor and presents Ruskin's unique conception of economics. For Ruskin wealth was not measured in money or possessions but ' fullness of life'. And Ruskin believed the great deprivation and social evil was not simply in material poverty but in loss of opportunity for cultural and spiritual enrichment. Ruskin is a visionary of Art and Social Reality, who saw both with the eyes of Tradition and with his own radical ideals of how to better reconstruct the world. Landow also indicates the very great influence of Ruskin in Victorian thought. As one who does not know Ruskin's work that well I felt this work gave me a clear idea of the main purpose and direction of a major nineteenth - century creative visionary.

Excerpt. © Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved. Ow!" Jenna Baker hopped on her right foot and clutched at the bruised toes on her left one. Shooting a furious glare at the bolted-down table in her so-tinythat-claustrophobics-would-die cabin, she called down silent curses on the head of the man who was the reason for this cruise from hell.

Nick Falco.

His image rose up in her mind, and just for a second Jenna enjoyed the nearly instant wash of heat that whipped through her. But the heat was gone a moment later, to be replaced by a cold fury.

Better all around if she concentrated on that particular emotion. After all, unlike every other passenger aboard Falcon's Pride, she hadn't come aboard the floating orgy to party. She was here for a reason. A damn good one.

While her aching toes throbbed in concert with her heartbeat, Jenna cautiously stood on both feet and took the step and a half that brought her to a minuscule closet. She'd already hung up her clothes, and the few outfits she'd brought with her looked crowded in the narrow wardrobe. Snatching a pale yellow blouse off the attached-to-the-rod hanger, she carried it to the bathroom, just another step away.

It was the size of an airplane bathroom, only it also contained a shower stall designed to fit pygmies. In fact, the opening of the sliding door was so slender, Jenna had slapped one arm across her breasts when leaving the shower, half-afraid she'd scrape her nipples off.

"Really nice, Nick," she muttered, "when you upgraded this old boat and turned it into your flagship, you might have put a little extra thought into those people who aren't living in the owner's penthouse on the top deck."

But she told herself that was typical enough. She'd known what Nick was like even before she'd met him on that sultry summer night more than a year ago. He was a man devoted to seeing his cruise line become the premier one in the world. He did what he had to do when he had to do it. And he didn't make apologies for it.

She'd been working for him when she met him. An assistant cruise director on one of the other cruise ships in the Falcon line. She'd loved the job, loved the idea of travel and stupidly, had fallen in love with the boss. All because of a romantic moonlight encounter and Nick's undeniable charm.

Jenna had known darn well that the boss would never get involved with an employee. So when the sexy, gorgeous Nick Falco had stumbled across her on the Pavilion Deck and assumed she was a guest, she hadn't corrected him. She should have and she knew it, but what woman wouldn't have been swept away by a chiseled jaw, ice-blue eyes and thick black hair that just tempted a woman to tangle her fingers in it?

She sighed a little, set her hands on the sides of the soapdish-size sink and remembered how it had been from the first moment he'd touched her. Magic. Pure and simple. Her skin had sizzled, her blood had sung and her heart had beaten so frantically, it had been hard to breathe. He'd swept her into a dance, there in the starlight, with the Hawaiian breeze caressing them and the music from the deck below floating on the air like a sigh.

One dance became two, and the feel of his arms around her had seduced Jenna into a lie that had come back to haunt her not a week later. She fell into an affair. A blistering, over-the-top sexual affair that had rocked her soul even as it battered her heart.

And when, one week into that affair, Nick had discovered from someone else that she actually worked for him, he'd broken it off, refused to hear her out, and once they were back in port, he'd fired her.

The sting of that…dismissal felt as fresh as the day it had happened.

"Oh, God. What am I doing here?" She blew out a breath as her stomach began to twist and ripple with the nerves that had been shivering through her for months. If there were any other way to do this, she would have. After all, it wasn't as if she were looking forward to seeing Nick again.

Gritting her teeth, she lifted her chin, turned sharply and cracked her elbow into the doorjamb. Wincing, she stared into her reflection in the slim rectangular mirror and said, "You're here because it's the right thing. The only thing. Besides, it's not like he left you any choice."

She had to talk to the man and it wasn't exactly easy to get access to him. Since he lived aboard the flagship of his cruise line, she couldn't confront him on dry land. And the few times he was in port in San Pedro, California, he locked himself up in a penthouse apartment with tighter security than the White House. When she couldn't talk to him in person, she'd tried phone calls. And when they failed, she'd taken to e-mailing him. At least twice a week for the last six months, she'd sent him e-mails that he apparently deleted without opening. The man was being so impossible, Jenna'd finally been forced to make a reservation on Falcon's Pride and take a cruise she didn't want and couldn't afford.

She hadn't been on board a ship in more than a year and so even the slight rolling sensation of the big cruise liner made her knees a little rubbery. There was a time when she'd loved being on ship. When she'd enjoyed the adventure of a job that was never the same two days in a row. When she'd awakened every morning to a new view out her porthole.

"Of course," she admitted wryly, "that was when I had a porthole." Now she was so far belowdecks, in the cheapest cabin she'd been able to find, she had no window at all and it felt as though she'd been sealed up in the bowels of the ship. She was forced to keep a light on at all times, because otherwise, the dark was so complete, it was like being inside a vacuum. No sensory input at all.

Weird and strangely unsettling.

Maybe if she'd been able to get some sleep, she'd feel different. But she'd been jolted out of bed late the night before by the horrific clank and groan of the anchor chain being lifted. It had sounded as if the ship itself was being torn apart by giant hands, and once that image had planted itself in her brain, she hadn't been able to sleep again.

"All because of Nick," she told the woman in the glass and was gratified to see her nod in agreement. "Mr. Gazillionaire, too busy, too important to answer his e-mail." Did he even remember her? Did he look at her name on the e-mail address and wonder who the heck she was? She frowned into the mirror, then shook her head. "No. He didn't forget. He knows who I am. He's not reading the e-mails on purpose, just to make me crazy. He couldn't have forgotten that week."

Despite the way it had ended, that one week with Nick Falco had turned Jenna's life around and upside down. It was simply impossible that she was the only one affected that strongly.

"So instead, he's being Mr. Smooth and Charming," she said. "Probably romancing some other silly woman, who, like me, won't notice until it's too late that he's nobody's fantasy."

Oh, God.

That was a lie.

The truth was, she thought with an inner groan, he actually was any woman's fantasy. Tall, gorgeous, with thick, black hair, pale blue eyes and a smile that was both charming and wicked, Nick Falco was enough to make a woman's toes curl even before she knew what kind of lover he was.

Jenna let her forehead thunk against the mirror. "Maybe this wasn't such a great idea," she whispered as her insides fisted and other parts of her heated up just on the strength of memories alone.

She closed her eyes as vivid mental images churned through her mind—nights with Nick, dancing on the Pavilion Deck beneath an awning of stars. A late-night picnic, alone on the bow of the ship, with the night crowded close. Dining on his balcony, sipping champagne, spilling a few drops and Nick licking them from the valley between her breasts. Lying in his bed, wrapped in his arms, his whispers promising tantalizing delights.

What did it say about her that simply the memories of that man could still elicit a shiver of want in her, more than a year later? Jenna didn't think she really wanted an answer to that question. She hadn't boarded this ship for the sake of lust or for what had once been. Sex wasn't part of the equation this time and she was just going to have to find a way to deal with her past while fighting for her future. So, deliberately, she dismissed the tantalizing images from her mind in favor of her reality. Opening her eyes, she stared into the mirror and steeled herself for what was to come.

The past had brought her here, but she had no intention of stirring up old passions.

Her life was different now. She wasn't at loose ends, looking for adventure. She was a woman with a purpose, and Nick was going to listen to her whether he wanted to or not.

"Too busy to answer his e-mail, is he?" she muttered. "Thinks if he ignores me long enough I'll simply disappear? Well, then, he's got quite the surprise coming, doesn't he?"

She brushed her teeth, slapped some makeup on and ran a brush through her long, straight, light brown hair before braiding it into a single thick rope that lay against her back. Inching sideways out the bathroom door, she carefully made her way to the built-in dresser underneath a television bolted high on the wall. She grabbed a pair of white shorts, tugged them on and then tucked the ends of her yellow shirt into the waistband. She stepped into a pair of sandals, grabbed her purse and checked to make sure the sealed, small blue envelope was still inside. Then she took the two steps to her cabin door.

She opened her door, stepped into the stingy hallway and bumped into a room service waiter. "Sorry, sorry!"

"My fault," he insisted, hoisting the tray he carried high enough that Jenna could duck under it and slip past him. "These older hallways just weren't made for a lot of foot traffic." He glanced up and down the short hall, then back to Jenna. "Even with the ship's refit, there are sections that—" He stopped, as if remembering he was an employee of the Falcon Line and really shouldn't be dissing the ship.

"Guess not." Jenna smiled back at the guy. He looked about twenty and had the shine of excite...

I mostly favor mystery novels and detective fiction, so when I downloaded this free book, I figured I'd read a few pages and decide it wasn't for me...but I was wrong. It was a quick read with a fast-paced (often racy) plot. Though the subject of proving paternity is a serious one (and treated as such by the author), the characters were light-hearted and even, at times, humorous.Though I don't think this Harlequin romance book will change my mind about my favorite literary genre, it WAS a pleasant diversion from more serious stories of murder and the criminal mind.

25 of 29 people found the following review helpful. Too silly By morehumanthanhuman This book doesn't even try to stay on speaking terms with anything resembling reality, which is disappointing because the plot is so simple and the characters are so one-dimensional that it wouldn't have put the author out to spend a few moments thinking about making the book realistic.Jenna worked for Nick, a billionaire, on one of his cruise ships. He fell for her, thinking that she was a passenger. She didn't correct that impression (what everybody else would call "lying") and, when he found out after a week, he fired her. How likely is it that a billionaire would put himself in that situation? When he found out, he would have transferred her or given her a settlement to leave. Set himself up for a massive lawsuit? Unlikely.Nick didn't bother to use any sort of protection during their weeklong fling (again, how likely is it that a playboy billionaire wouldn't think to protect his own interests) and Jenna soon realizes she is pregnant. She e-mails him (how exactly she got his direct e-mail address, the author doesn't explain) and he deletes the e-mails. Anybody else on earth -- knowing how much it costs to just give birth to twins -- would be contacting a lawyer. Jenna bides her time and then makes a scrapbook and books passage on a cruise ship. She's certain Nick will be on this trip, despite the fact that he has multiple ships. She's lucky, because he is. She delivers him a cute little baby announcement and the plot proceeds exactly as you expect it would.Nick only thought he didn't want a family because he didn't know how awesome it was, Jenna has completely recovered her pre-baby body four months after giving birth to twins, any impediment to love is quickly swept away.Forget sub-plots -- I think saying this book even has a main plot is being generous. The female main is so stupid, I found myself wishing this was a different sort of book, one where Nick would sue for sole custody and sail off with the twins, leaving Jenna to cry alone with her dumb mail-order gift basket business.

I would recommend this book to those that tend to do the same. It was a quick read, but the story [.............] me right in. I finished it in one sitting and was never disappointed.

There are many authors listed, but it's mostly written by a financial historian, with quotes from other men of God just at random throughout the book.

Freshwater Algae of North America: Ecology and Classification, Second Edition is an authoritative and practical treatise on the classification, biodiversity, and ecology of all known genera of freshwater algae from North America. The book provides essential taxonomic and ecological information about one of the most diverse and ubiquitous groups of organisms on earth. This single volume brings together experts on all the groups of algae that occur in fresh waters (also soils, snow, and extreme inland environments). In the decade since the first edition, there has been an explosion of new information on the classification, ecology, and biogeography of many groups of algae, with the use of molecular techniques and renewed interest in biological diversity. Accordingly, this new edition covers updated classification information of most algal groups and the reassignment of many genera and species, as well as new research on harmful algal blooms.

  • Extensive and complete
  • Describes every genus of freshwater algae known from North America, with an analytical dichotomous key, descriptions of diagnostic features, and at least one image of every genus.
  • Full-color images throughout provide superb visual examples of freshwater algae
  • Updated Environmental Issues and Classifications, including new information on harmful algal blooms (HAB)
  • Fully revised introductory chapters, including new topics on biodiversity, and taste and odor problems
  • Updated to reflect the rapid advances in algal classification and taxonomy due to the widespread use of DNA technologies

Review "Freshwater phycologists and aquatic microscopists will welcome this book as the first comprehensive, single-volume treatment of the freshwater algae in over half a century...The Editors and their Contributors have done an outstanding job in synthesizing this mass of data, and there is no doubt that this work will be a standard reference, to be followed by up-dated editions."-MODERN MICROSCOPY JOURNAL (2005)"This is an excellent book that provides extensive taxonomic information that has previously been difficult to access by any but taxonomic specialists. ...Any student, researcher, or environmental management professional who routinely works with freshwater ecology should have access to this authoritative and thorough book."-Walter Doods, Kansas State University (August 2002)"This will be a welcome addition to the shelf of phycological researchers and teachers. The coverage is comprehensive both taxonomically in the range of ecological topics. For those of us specializing in freshwater algae, whether it be identifying them or studying their ecology, this kind of text will be an invaluable reference work."-Richard M. McCourt, Associate Curator of Botany, The Academy of Natural Sciences (2002)"...finally after half a century we freshwater phycologists have a single, comprehensive volume that updates G.M. Smith's Freshwater Algae of the United States. It is truly impressive work...Students, water management types and experienced phycologists will all feel the need to dig out heir plankton nets and scum scrapers, resurrect their hip boots and make some wet mounts just to get a chance to use this book."-James Wee, Loyola University (2002)

The Definitive Guide the Freshwater Algae in North America By David B Richman I have eagerly awaited the revised edition of "Freshwater Algae of North America" edited by John D. Wehr, Robert G. Sheath and J. Patrick Kociolek. I knew about the proposal to publish a second edition, this time with color illustrations, and the result of this new approach has immensely improved an already remarkable compendium. Much has happened in the field since the first edition in 2003 and the 1050 pages of this impressive volume is a reflection of this flood of data, including recent DNA studies. The editors note that many more species are yet to be described. Still the coverage is almost overwhelming. Each chapter references taxonomic works up to the present date, which will allow the specialist or aquatic biologist to reach the sources for species identification for each genus. From cyanobacteria to diatoms and dinoflagellates, this is the indispensable volume for anyone engaged in research in the freshwater systems in North America.I recommend it highly.

This update has numerous added color plates and the newer accepted taxonomy since 2003. A new chapter is Harmful Algal Blooms; missing is the chapter Control Of Nuisance Algae. A very good information source if you are interested in algae to the genus level.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Poweer Girl and Huntress are at it again! By Amazon Customer Be warned though, the cover is very misleading. There is not an epic battle between Power Girl, Val-Zod, Huntress and Batman. This really continues the story of them trying to get back to Earth-2 and all of the crazy shenanigans on the way. There is still the funny banter between the to two titular characters, and more of Power Girl fully embracing the fact that she is stronger than just about everyone. There is a Future's End issue in there, which I am not a fan of any of the Future's End issues I have read. It isn't terrible but I prefer the main storyline. The last issue is sort of a playful retelling of Huntress and Power Girl's origin stories. Nothing really new plot-wise, but it hits a little bit more of an emotional punch than when it was told previously. If you are a fan of the series so far, there is no reason you should not pick this up.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. As the title (and cover) of this volume indicate, Power Girl and Huntress finally find a way to get back home. By Matt Anderson Collects Worlds' Finest issues #22-26 and Worlds' Finest: Future End issue #1I like the story OK, but the artwork starts out not very good (it eventually gets better). As the title (and cover) of this volume indicate, Power Girl and Huntress finally find a way to get back home. The cover is a little misleading, though, because they never actually meet the Earth-2 Superman or Batman in this collection. In preparation for leaving Earth-0, Kara decides that someone else needs to take up the mantle of Power Girl in her absence, and a new heroine is born in these pages. There are two flashback stories (one for Helena and one for Kara) in this collection, as well as a "Futures End" story (set 5 years in the future).

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. and i'd like to think it's a good end we see them ... By raphaela as some may know this is the last of the official power girl and huntress title, and i'd like to think it's a good endwe see them accomplish there goal and even more back storylike i said one of my favorite things in this is how they show a family dynamic and seeing Helena and kara as children was adorable. it also leaves me wondering what's next

In 1995, a Christian novel about earth's final days was published called Left Behind. This single book (the first of many in the series) was voted "One of the top ten best-selling books of the 20th century" by bookstore giant Barnes & Noble. "Left Behind: The Movie" was released on February 2, 2001 in theaters across America. But despite the popularity of these books, could Left Behind's portrayal of missing people also be missing important Bible truths? The purpose of this book is to take a closer look at Revelation's final prophecies about the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Antichrist and his deadly mark (Revelation 14:9, 14). What's true about the Rapture? What's false? According to author Steve Wohlberg, when it comes to understanding God's truth, we cannot afford to be "left behind!"Book Specs

11 of 15 people found the following review helpful. Heavy on Scripture, very little speculation. By Trish Wohlberg is basically presenting classic "old time" Protestant (pre Laodicean?) historicism. I have listened to quite a few historicist and think he is the most clear and scholarly. If you have been taught to believe in a Jesuit-formulated pre trib rapture...If you have been taught that Paul's (misconstrued) words changed the Sabbath....If you believe Paul had or claimed to have the authority to change the Sabbath Commandment written in stone by the very finger of YHWH...If you think Yahusha's injunction to "Pray that you flight not be on the Sabbath" is anyting but an obvious statement...If you suppose YHWH or Yahusha or any prophet ever said or implied that the Sabbath would be changed...Then you may find that this book does "not compute." That's how I used to feel. Then I studied first century history and found out that all the believers kept the Sabbath on the stone tablets and that this continued for centuries in many places of the world in spite of intense persecution. So I had to personally reread what was being said in historicism and the Scriptures. It was like when I first heard creationist scientists saying that evolution was not true. That didn't compute! It seemed absurd. I had to really study over and over what they were saying and what Darwinism was saying. When a new truth hits an old lie it doesn't always knock it out of park on the first shot! May we all be very sure of what the beast is and what the mark of the beast is in these last days. I believe this book makes a clear and cogent case to help us in that direction.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Stop waiting for what will never happen By Child of the King Truth seeking believers should read this book to understand the history behind the rapture myth. Knowing who and why it was started will help you understand why it is a lie and how dangerous it is for believers. It is easy to convince people that they will be kept from any pain or suffering. The Truth is all those who do the will of the father will suffer. All the Apostles suffered and died because of the word they preached. Are we better than all of them or has the father changed for us? Don't wait for something that will never happen prepare for what will happen if you live for him.

5 of 8 people found the following review helpful. The Truth has been Exposed! By Ican'tbelieveit'snotbutter For years, I have been searching for the Truth about the matters of the end times, the Bible symbols and their meanings. If you keep looking for the truth, the Holy Spirit will guide you to God's Holy Word (JESUS). The author is guided by the Holy Spirit to outline the detail about the how the Truth is being left behind, the lies that have been told by misinterpreting the bible and its misconcepts. The author strictly uses theGod's Holy Word in the Bible - line upon line and precept when identifying the truth from the error. This is a must have book if you really want to know where all these misguided errors came from and how we all must safeguard God's Truth (HIS WORD) in our hearts against spiritural errors of the devil.

Jules, a computer genius, finds himself working with Sir Henry Percival McIntyre, CEO of a multinational energy company, who knows he must change the course of his global enterprise as humanity struggles to change the course of history. Maryanne, Jules’s artist lover, distrusts the alliance and is filled with premonitions.

Give yourself a big treat By Sheila If you have a lot of time when you don't have to jump up and do things, that is a great time to read this book because once begun, you won't want to put it down again until the final sentence...not even for eating and drinking and sleeping. Tim's characters become vibrant and real with deep emotions as they struggle to deal with paradoxical situations both personal and global. The story has sweep and power reminiscent of ancient legends handed down by verbal tradition through many generations and interlaced with unexpected, often unsettling surprises not unlike being jumped from behind by a hungry cougar. It is a story of compassion, tenderness, confusion, courage, determination, faith, rage, love all intertwined and hurtling wildly towards the edge of a precipice. Read it and you'll see what I mean. This is the kind of book that makes you think. That pushes the stale places in your brain and forces you to question them and challenge your viewpoint, and come away the better for it. This book floats a new idea in front of you so intriguing that you need to take time to ponder it and absorb it, and then go back for more. Tim Hick's approach to writing is creative, refreshing, and energizing. His characters' train of thought is one moment complex and one moment perfunctory--in other words, completely relatable--drawing you in to the ideas just as much as to the story.

A rich and complex story grounded in science, philosophy and imagination By Barbara shaw Hicks’ far-reaching intelligence offers us a cleverly plotted work of fiction that is a rich set of lessons. For the reader hungry for substance and new understanding of how the world and the planet work, this is a treasure. I had a hard time putting down the book. It drew me on in a fascinating exploration of big oil, big changes on the horizon and big philosophical questions with an array of characters I wanted to know better. Thebook is both clever and wise, hopeful and tragic, baroque and modern. Beyond all other descriptions, it is a unique story told with an original voice.

The Anthropology of Florida (Classic Reprint), by Ales Hrdlicka

Review “Perhaps Hrdlicka’s most important contribution was that he provided the first systematic population estimate of south Florida based on the number of sites and the amount of labor required for their construction. These techniques of population estimation are still used today by archaeologists.”—Randolph J. Widmer, University of Houston

About the Author Ales Hrdlicka, M.D., 1869-1943, was a physical anthropologist and founder of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists and the "American Journal of Physical Anthropology, "and he was its editor from 1918 until 1942. Jeffrey M. Mitchem is a research archaeologist with the Arkansas Archeological Survey who edited and introduced both "The West and Central Florida Expeditions of Clarence Bloomfield Moore" and "The East Florida Expeditions of Clarence Bloomfield Moore."

Low-resolution Classic By catrox75 Had wanted this oft-cited book for a while; it's good to get "back to basics" when all current literature is revisions and recent findings, even if some of the old stuff has since been disproven. However, the reproduction quality of the images is terrible. One photo captioned "Shell heaps on Chokaluskee Island" is literally nothing but a solid black mass, the sky having washed out as white as the page. The contrast on the bone photos isn't much better.Among the upsides, I was amazed to find that Hrdlicka's style is quite readable! Until he discusses methodology and measurements, but it is a technical volume.

Best PDF Ebook Muerto pero mío (Spanish Edition), by Carolina Rangel

Enchanting Book By Andrei Mihnea The author of "The Line and Friends" has shown great insight of the way the mind of a child works while attempting to grasp the true meaning of a simple mathematical topic, the triangle.I have found the idea of using the combination of rhymes, graphics, and story telling wonderfully appropriate to entice the curiosity of children. This book is neither too long, nor too short. Its format has a very pleasing balance between text and graphics. The end of "The Line and Friends" invites the reader to look forward to more of its kind.
