Local postman Mark Shiffron has Asperger's, and through his peculiar eyes we see a town struggling to keep its fragile peace, a town on the constant brink of chaos. I desperately want to read more. The only problem I had with this book is that it was TOO SHORT and had a sample of another unrelated series that I have no interest in reading. They could have fit another book in there if it wasn't for all the sketches and unrelated "The Tithe" content.Either way, you need to read this book. Right now. Put it in your cart, and get it. You can thank me later.

The main character has Asperger's, and his attention to detail and level of focus are put to good use when the town discovers a woman dead in a parking lot. There's a lot of fun extremism in terms of religion and redemption, and I'm excited to see where the story goes. Really glad I bought the trade, rather than an issue at a time. I devoured it.

The story and characters are creepy and interesting, the murder mystery is mysterious and the art is somewhat bleak but beautiful, which supports the already spooky atmosphere of the book.
