However, the new edition is basically the same as the last edition as far as content goes. I think there are 2 extra cards. They are worth every penny, but if you're a student, might want to save some money and keep the 3rd edition. I have only gone through about 1/2 of the cards, so my review is based on that. If I find any other new info, I will update. The cards are now thicker, and have a glossy coating. This is good since they're more sturdy and resistant to stains. But it can make it hard if you like to write on them or highlight things you keep forgetting. Also, makes them seem more daunting since the set itself is about 1/3 thicker than the last edition, even though it has the same number of cards. Another nice addition is that it comes with a big ring and the cards are punched, so you can keep the cards together easier. The colors are also a bit different and Pathogenesis icons are now black and white ( I preferred the color icons).Overall, these are great cards for Step or course review. Depends on your learning style. I usually switch between FA and sketchy and use these when I want to change it up or do 10/day so I won't forget things when I'm studying other subjects. I was hoping the new edition would have updated content as far as treatment, or addition of more tips. I guess changing the paper and adding a glossy finish categorizes them as "new edition". This is a great resource and I appreciate the author and publisher for this, but at the same time, I don't like when they change the cover or minor words and call it a new edition... But I understand it's business :)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Must have! Great supplemental resource for medical students! By RD I love these cards. Each card is filled with descriptive pictures, colors, clinical vignettes, mechanism of action, treatments, and more. They summarize everything you need to know for micro on the COMLEX and USMLE. There really isn't a downfall to these cards. Not that it matters too much, but the cards are very smooth and easier to handle. Each one is relatively wide however. But the cards serve their purpose and helps CONSOLIDATE everything you need to know about every microbe for the boards.

I would recommend writing in brief notes as necessary, and updates as well (some cards as outdated), to make these even more useful, but they're great as is. I was able to go through all 154(?) cards a few days before my microbiology exam. No substitute for a textbook or First Aid (I suggest using these cards along with FA for review), but I was impressed by how much relevant information was on each card. They hit most of the key points for each pathogen.Overall, excellent.

Lynch syndrome (LS) is the most common cause of inherited colorectal cancer, a disease with a high mortality rate. An estimated 37,000 of diagnosed colorectal cancer cases worldwide are attributed to Lynch syndrome each year. Intensive cancer screening, with early initiation and frequent follow-up, can reduce colorectal cancer incidence and mortality in LS patients. This book provides an up-to-date overview on the genetic and epigenetic basis of Lynch syndrome. It evaluates clinical features of the disease and critically comments on molecular tools available for identifying mutations responsible for Lynch syndrome; in addition the importance of functional assays that can help clarify the clinical nature of identified mutations is also discussed. The book also focuses on challenges in genetic counselling of at-risk individuals and discusses related ethical issues. The purpose of the book is to give a concise knowledge base for the broader scientific and medical community, including genetic counselors, in order to improve awareness on the potential impact that the diagnosis of LS has on treatment, management and surveillance of LS patients.

Review

From the reviews:

“This highly specialized book is an extensive, multiauthored discussion of Lynch syndrome. … From health professionals implementing general health surveillance to oncologists and geneticists dealing with populations at risk of Lynch syndrome, this is a must-have book. Cancer genetics clinics should count this as part of their resources to provide accurate information to their patients. … There are no comparable publications. This book is unique in its concentration on a single disorder, and it achieves its goals with outstanding writing and planning.” (Luis F. Escobar, Doody’s Book Reviews, October, 2013)

It covers pretty much all relevant aspects of this field. I do think that there is significant overlap between chapters, especially between chapters 3 and 4.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Beautiful! By Mark Holmes Twelve tales of Tarzan as a youth before he met Jane collected in one volume all beautifully done by a fantastic group of illustrators.I have followed the production of this book via social media for some time now and everything promised has been delivered in Spades! Martin Powell as author has adapted ERB's work faithfully into twelve tight scripts and Diana Leto and her artistic company has brought those stories to the page. Each story is completely self contained yet the whole book is read effortlessly. This book should be in every school library across the country. A great gateway to the writings of Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Hudson, Diana Leto, and the rest of the Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse team! I'd like to see every one of Edgar Rice Burroughs' novels receive this sort of lavish treatment.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. TARZAN Comic Gold By Ron Fortier Since we first heard of this project, we were excited to see it come to fruition. The idea was simple enough, take Burrough’s own book, which relates the adventures of a young Tarzan in a collection of short stories and have them adapted to comic strips by various artists. Michael Hudson of Sequential Pulps was the driving force behind this super cool idea and he enlisted the talented Martin Powell to adapt those tales into comic scripts. Then it was a matter of recruiting the right artist for each segment.Daren Bader’s cover art is simply stunning in both composition and execution. It sets a very high bar for the interior artists, some of whom proved to be its equal while others fall a bit short. The nature of any anthology is in the end a subjective experience between individual creators and their audience. Thus, of the twelve strips assembled here, there were some that simply bowled us over and we’d like to single them out as they were truly exceptional. If we had to pick a favorite, it would be a tie between “Tarzan and the Native Boy” from Nik Poliwko and “The Nightmare” by Mark Wheatley. In the first, Poliwko ssems to be channeling the late/great Russ Manning. As a comic lover who grew up reading Manning’s Tarzan comics from Dell, this strip was a loving trip home. Whereas Wheatley’s style of art was perfectly suited to a tale about what is real and unreal, his colors blending in perfectly to add the proper mood. We’ve yet to see a bad piece of Wheatley art and have to believe none exist. We’d also like to applaud artists Lowell Isaac, Will Meugniot, Terry Beatty who all turned in inspired work. Whereas we found Jamie Chase’s style moody and Steven Gordon’s cartoony, both worked beautifully with their stories. Each is a joy to read and we truly appreciated the wonderful artwork on displayed in these pages. As we indicated above, this is an amazing collection and will please any true Tarzan fan. One can only imagine the logistic chores of corralling all these various talents and pulling such a project together. A tip of the pulp hat to Diane Leto for making it all come together. This is a beautiful book we are happy to have in our library.

» - Harlan Coben, l'auteur à succès numéro 1 du New York Times « Dangereusement addictif ». - Sherrilyn Kenyon, l'auteur à succès numéro 1 du New York Times

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

By Michael Melcher I was actually looking for a straightforward set of plot summaries summaries that I could read prior to attending an opera performance. As a reference, however, this book falls way short of the mark. In Kindle format, at least, it is almost impossible to go from the table of contents which is in paragraph form directly to a specific opera. Furthermore, I bought this book prior to attending a performance of La Traviata, and found that there was actually no prot summary given. Instead, I was informed that the story essentially follows the plot for the French play, Camille. Bravo...I guess I am now looking for a book on plots of the plays. My recomendation is that you don't waste your money. Amazon lists two other offerings related to describing the plots of the operas and they are free.

How to Tell a Story and Other Essays (Annotated), by Mark Twain

About the Author Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835 –1910), better known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American author and humorist. He is noted for his novels Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), called "the Great American Novel", and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876). Twain grew up in Hannibal, Missouri, which would later provide the setting for Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. He apprenticed with a printer. He also worked as a typesetter and contributed articles to his older brother Orion's newspaper. After toiling as a printer in various cities, he became a master riverboat pilot on the Mississippi River, before heading west to join Orion. He was a failure at gold mining, so he next turned to journalism. While a reporter, he wrote a humorous story, The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County, which proved to be very popular and brought him nationwide attention. His travelogues were also well-received. Twain had found his calling. He achieved great success as a writer and public speaker. His wit and satire earned praise from critics and peers, and he was a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists, and European royalty. However, he lacked financial acumen. Though he made a great deal of money from his writings and lectures, he squandered it on various ventures, in particular the Paige Compositor, and was forced to declare bankruptcy. With the help of Henry Huttleston Rogers, however, he eventually overcame his financial troubles. Twain worked hard to ensure that all of his creditors were paid in full, even though his bankruptcy had relieved him of the legal responsibility. Born during a visit by Halley's Comet, he died on its return. He was lauded as the "greatest American humorist of his age", and William Faulkner called Twain "the father of American literature".

Mark Twain extras By pedal roy Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes (Baby Board Books)American writer Samuel Clemens, better known by his pen name Mark Twain has given us some literary gems with Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn and his travel adventures in nineteenth-century Europe and to Australia and New Zealand. Here is is discussing telling rather than writing a story.Humour, he says, is American while comic is English and witty is French. He follows this typically brilliant essay with examples of story telling and some intriguing experiences of mental telegraphy.Good on you Dodo Press for specialising in rare and out-of-print books.Mark Twain devotees will want to add this slim volume to their collection.

I was particularly interested in the "How to Tell a Story" Essay and Mark Twain's lessons are just as relavent today. Kindle version was a welcome convenience and you can't beat the price!!

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. Very funny essays and stories By Israel Drazin Different editions of Twain's (1835-1910) writings contain different stories. This free book for amazon kindle users has five short essays and stories. Twain differentiates between humorous stories, which he says is an American invention, and comic stories, which he claims is English. There is also, he says, the witty story, which is French, but he does not discuss it in this volume. The humorous story depends on how it is told, the other two "on the matter." The humorous story is told by word of mouth. It can go on and on with no apparent purpose other than to be funny. The joy is in the telling and it is an art to tell it well. He gives an example of a humorous story - The Wounded Soldier. He then gives an example of how a humorous story should be told - The Golden Arm. He shows by the dialect and by directions to the reader how it should be told. He emphasizes the importance of pauses and occasional noises just at the right time and with the right length. Included in this volume is an essay telling of four incidences that he says happened to him. The title is Mental Telepathy Again. In each tale, another person who is far from him thinks something and he senses it. This essay is followed by The Invalid's Story. It is a very funny tale of how a healthy man became an invalid when he thought he was transporting the dead body of his friend to his parents when, because of a mix up, the crate contains guns and smelly limburger cheese.

It was Lady Drakmanton who stared now. “Do you know,” she said, with a scared look around her, “rather a dreadful thing is happening. I’m suffering from a complete loss of memory. I can’t even think who I am. I remember meeting you somewhere, and I remember you asking me to come and lunch with you here, and that I accepted your kind invitation. Beyond that my mind is a positive blank.” The scared look was transferred with intensified poignancy to the faces of her companions. “You asked us to lunch,” they exclaimed hurriedly. That seemed a more immediately important point to clear up than the question of identity. “Oh, no,” said the vanishing hostess, “that I do remember about. You insisted on my coming here because the feeding was so good, and I must say it comes up to all you said about it. A very nice lunch it’s been. What I’m worrying about is who on earth am I? I haven’t the faintest notion?”

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Superb collection of short stories. By deus_ex_libris Saki was one of A. A. Milne's favourites, and this speaks volumes for his quality & is enough reason alone for you to pick him up. There's a rather lovely Edwardian sensibility to his work although with the benefit of history, the clouds of the Great War loom on the horizon of several of the short stories. Well worth keeping on your Kindle to repeatedly dip into. The "Folio Society" editions of his work are very well made, often available 2nd-hand via Amazon & are fine additions to any library.(NB This review is appended unaltered to other public domain Saki works)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. H.H. Munro ...but not his finest. By Dannette Elaine Calderin Known for his sharp wit and sharper sense of irony, Saki's works are almost always timeless and to the point, but this last set written on the brink of a war that would see him stupidly dead is largely lacking in his usual tone. Far heavier and nowhere near as pleasantly insightful, only a few of the tales meet his usual standard. A must for the collector but not for the casual reader.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Chucklesworth By Amazon Customer Marvellous read."Comedy of manners" type stuff à la Wodehouse/Jeeves but sharp in it's satire and episodic in it's structure so great to dip in and out of.Chucklesworth.

By Hwy61Joe The Saga continues with 600+ pages of USAGI YOJIMBO stories collected from the very late 90s into the early 2000s. Amazing comics. Fun, fast-paced samurai action mixed with great characterization and meticulously researched information about the history and culture of Japan. I learn something almost every time I read a comic by Stan Sakai.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Stan Sakai does it again! By Norman Chen Well he did it the first time so many years ago but upon rereading these stories I can definitely say [in my non-expert opinion] that Usagi Yojimbo is a timeless masterpiece...featuring plenty of Samurai Chanbara, Japanese culture, and Anthropomorphic characters Usagi Yojimbo Saga Volume 3 gathers the adventures of its titular character and hero Usagi. Featured prominently in this collection are two great story Arcs, Bloodmoon [think samurai and detective whodunit noir combined!] and Grass Cutter part II [the sequel to the award winning Grass Cutter story arc and a must read on its own alone!] as well as many other tales. Whether you are a new fan, or returning, this is definitely a must have pick up, all for the VALUE price of under $20!!

Still, high quality art, consistent characterization and tastefully done with style and substance. Mr. Sakai has delivered wonderful work in a consistently entertaining manner.

Her older brother raised Julie after her parents died. Unknown to Julie, her brother hired a bodyguard to watch her every move.Billy Lucas thought he had a cushy job as Julie's bodyguard. Until the day he came face to face with her. Billy knew from watching her at a distance that she was a beauty, but he had no idea just how gorgeous she was. Before Billy knew what was happening he was running off with her, so that he could help her to fulfil her wishes of behaving like an ordinary woman for a week. There is an attraction between the two that creates a sexual tension that jumps off the page. Billy knows that he must tell her that her brother hired him to be her bodyguard, but he does not want to jeopardize their blossoming relationship. If he were smart, however, he would tell her before someone else does.More than the romance in this book there was a ton of humor. Julie is not dumb but she is clueless when it comes to the world outside her rich mansion. She has never been in a motel, never pumped gas, and has never worn clothes that were not tailored. The humor between Julie and Billy is simply hilarious. If you are looking for a good laugh with a mix of romance than this is the book you want to read.

By A Customer In this book, a petite, likeable, spirited heiress ends up on an adventure with a dark, sometimes cynical bodyguard. An interesting twist is that he IS her bodyguard, but she doesn't know that (he was hired by her brother to watch her surreptitiously). Then, she ends up HIRING him as her bodyguard. That's a cute twist. I like romances, but I find it hard to actually get through most of them because I studied English literature so my curse is to be able to recognize bad writing when I read it. This romance was a surprising pleasure: well-written with genuine originality and humor. The author's real enjoyment of writing and of her characters comes through in every page. I can't say it enough: it was a real pleasure. Don't miss this one.

The Scribe's Promise is the tale of Kapriel, a shy Christian-Armenian scribe living in mid-nineteenth century Persia, who loves Mina, the sister of his Muslim neighbor, Rahma. And, although Rahma tolerates and shows some respect for Kapriel, the fact that Kapriel is not Muslim prevents him from being a suitable husband for Mina. Neither Rahma nor his family will allow their union, and Kapriel and Mina are unable to disobey her family or go against the strict religious laws without facing dire consequences.

At this time, however, the winds of change are blowing in Persia, especially with the news that a merchant of Shiraz, who calls himself "the Bab," has begun teaching that he has brought a new revelation from God, which supersedes that of Muhammad's. Under the Bab's new teachings, the antiquated ways of Persia will be abolished and new ones laid down instead. Intrigued by this new promise, both Kapriel and Rahma decide to travel to find the Bab and perhaps speak to him. Their journey will create a bond between them that they never thought could have existed, and their lives will be changed forever.

The Scribe's Promise, by Jennifer Pollard

From the Back Cover The year is 1844. In the heart of Persia, a young merchant called "the Báb" has made an extraordinary claim: He is the Promised One awaited by the followers of all religions. His teachings immediately arouse the animosity of the fanatical Muslim clergy, who are intent on persecuting Him and His growing number of followers.     Kapriel, a scribe living in the city of Shiráz, is different from the average Persian. He is a Christian Armenian, and he wants nothing more than to marry Mina, the sister of his best friend, Rahma, a Muslim farmer who lives next door. Although Rahma and Kapriel are close, Rahma--like many Muslim Persians of the time--often treats Kapriel as an inferior person because he is Christian. For Rahma, the idea of a Christian marrying his sister is unthinkable.     When Rahma hears of the Báb's message of love, unity, and equality, however, he begins to change. He asks Kapriel to promise that he will accompany him on a pilgrimage to see the Báb. For Kapriel this will mean leaving everything behind--his family, his scribing business, and his beloved Mina. The ensuing journey will test both men to their limits and will transform them both physically and spiritually. Their friendship will deepen, and as they journey to find out more about the Báb, they will find courage, compassion, and fortitude within themselves that they never knew existed.

A Well-Crafted and Researched Novel of Nineteenth Century Persia By DonQ and Sancha This is a well-crafted and researched novel of nineteenth century Persia, that will captivate all who follow the Christian Scribe as he and his dear Muslim Friend follow, participate and report the actual early history of the Baha’i Faith through its tragic formative age. This Book is a compelling page turner that takes you on a journey of Spiritual drama, triumph and sacrifice. A book of this caliber would make a dramatic movie of epic proportions. This is a novel that should be on everyone's must read list.

Former cage-fighter Albrecht Drue punches ghosts, right in their goddamned ghost faces. He doesn't know why and he doesn't really care; all he wants to do is have a drink, start a fight, smoke a cigarette, and go home with the girl behind the bar. But when he ends up on the wrong side of the God of Murder, he might just have found a ring he can't punch his way out of.

Albrecht Drue, ghostpuncher. Part One: O.G.P, by Paul D. Miller

About the Author The Reverend Paul D. (middle-name Damn, YO!) Miller is the inspiration for such fictional characters as Batman, Dr. Phil, and Abraham Lincoln, as well as the architect of civilization as we understand it. Reverend Paulie is the rightful wielder of The Stormstaff, and his achievements include turning America fat, invading Canada, and convincing the world he does not exist. Most sources correctly cite him as the final arbiter of what is and isn't stupid as fuck. I'm not saying Oprah Winfrey sees his face when she prays at night, but I'm not not saying that, either. Recently, in his capacity as the Scary Jesus of the American South, Paul dropped the sickest burn in the history of Huntsville, Alabama on some poor douchebag riding a three-wheeled scooter, then grabbed his girlfriend's ass, took a long drag on a Marlboro Red, and went about his day. He also writes poetry. For children. Reach him at pauldmiller@ghostpuncher.org, and visit www.blogpuncher.com

By Norbert Fong This book is not for the faint of heart (or the politically correct). What it is, however, is a bourbon soaked two-fisted pulp adventure through a world where supernatural terrors exist to torment mankind and thus need a good punching. The author here has crafted a gripping tale that is sometimes funny, sometimes terrifying, and always entertaining. Definitely feels like a series that will be fun to follow.

Excerpt from Through the Magic DoorI care not how humble your bookshelf may be, nor how lowly the room which it adorns. Close the door of that room behind you, shut off with it all the cares of the outer world, plunge back into the soothing company of the great dead, and then you are through the magic portal into that fair land whither worry and vexation can follow you now more. You have left all that is vulgar and all that is sordid behind you. There stand you noble, silent comrades, waiting in their ranks. Pass your eye down their files. Choose your man. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great begining, then best in small doses By Robert C Ross The first few paragraphs of Sir Conan Doyles essay, conversation, really, as he readily admits, make splendid reading:"I care not how humble your bookshelf may be, nor how lowly the room which it adorns. Close the door of that room behind you, shut off with it all the cares of the outer world, plunge back into the soothing company of the great dead, and then you are through the magic portal into that fair land whither worry and vexation can follow you no more. You have left all that is vulgar and all that is sordid behind you. There stand your noble, silent comrades, waiting in their ranks. Pass your eye down their files. Choose your man. And then you have but to hold up your hand to him and away you go together into dreamland. Surely there would be something eerie about a line of books were it not that familiarity has deadened our sense of it. Each is a mummified soul embalmed in cere-cloth and natron of leather and printer's ink. Each cover of a true book enfolds the concentrated essence of a man. The personalities of the writers have faded into the thinnest shadows, as their bodies into impalpable dust, yet here are their very spirits at your command."He leads the reader through several shelves of his library, sometimes focusing on a single favorite book, one that allows us to see what a man of action he really was:"Come through the magic door with me, and sit here on the green settee, where you can see the old oak case with its untidy lines of volumes. Smoking is not forbidden. Would you care to hear me talk of them? Well, I ask nothing better, for there is no volume there which is not a dear, personal friend, and what can a man talk of more pleasantly than that? The other books are over yonder, but these are my own favourites -- the ones I care to re-read and to have near my elbow. There is not a tattered cover which does not bring its mellow memories to me. ..."If I had to choose the one book out of all that line from which I have had most pleasure and most profit, I should point to yonder stained copy of Macaulay's "Essays." It seems entwined into my whole life as I look backwards. It was my comrade in my student days, it has been with me on the sweltering Gold Coast, and it formed part of my humble kit when I went a-whaling in the Arctic. Honest Scotch harpooners have addled their brains over it, and you may still see the grease stains where the second engineer grappled with Frederick the Great. Tattered and dirty and worn, no gilt-edged morocco-bound volume could ever take its place for me."Thereafter, as he discusses particular authors, it is best to take each section on its own, thinking about the author, Doyle's analysis, mulling over Doyle's favorite quotations. Otherwise, you may find your eyes glazing over -- especially in some of the sections that seem long ago, far away, remote -- I'm thinking of all the one time pugilists that Doyle seems to have studied, either in person or in the pages of sports writers 75 years before his time. But Doyle can be spot on. His analysis of the great Samuel Johnson is spot on for my money: he praises a large print version of Boswell's Life of Johnson, Volume 1 1709-1765, then skewers the great man himself with great clarity and great kindness (before spending several pages supporting his thesis:"That book interests me--fascinates me -- and yet I wish I could join heartily in that chorus of praise which the kind-hearted old bully has enjoyed. It is difficult to follow his own advice and to "clear one's mind of cant" upon the subject, for when you have been accustomed to look at him through the sympathetic glasses of Macaulay or of Boswell, it is hard to take them off, to rub one's eyes, and to have a good honest stare on one's own account at the man's actual words, deeds, and limitations. If you try it you are left with the oddest mixture of impressions. How could one express it save that this is John Bull taken to literature--the exaggerated John Bull of the caricaturists--with every quality, good or evil, at its highest? Here are the rough crust over a kindly heart, the explosive temper, the arrogance, the insular narrowness, the want of sympathy and insight, the rudeness of perception, the positiveness, the overbearing bluster, the strong deep-seated religious principle, and every other characteristic of the cruder, rougher John Bull who was the great grandfather of the present good-natured Johnnie."Doyle is absolutely brilliant in his analysis of Poe, and one can see through his eyes how Dupin became Sherlock Holmes through Doyle's pen. He glories in the courage and style of the French fighting men, especially those who lost the day at Waterloo -- "a near thing that" -- while mourning the fact that he hasn't found any English writers who come close to their French adversaries in the military literature of the Napoleonic wars. He often complains at how grudging the English are in giving praise, often offering none at all, to their enemies, and even less to their allies -- not a word about the Prussians at Waterloo, for example, or the Spanish or the Portuguese or the Russians on that and other fields. After the brilliant beginning, Doyle begins to slog a bit, but I've found that if I take his book in small bites -- and read some of his favorites -- he has created a very useful and entertaining introduction to the great writers of the 1900s. A small example is this short paragraph about Pepys:"The wonderful thing about Mr. Pepys is that a man should succeed in making himself seem so insignificant when really he must have been a man of considerable character and attainments. Who would guess it who read all these trivial comments, these catalogues of what he had for dinner, these inane domestic confidences--all the more interesting for their inanity! The effect left upon the mind is of some grotesque character in a play, fussy, self-conscious, blustering with women, timid with men, dress-proud, purse-proud, trimming in politics and in religion, a garrulous gossip immersed always in trifles. And yet, though this was the day-by-day man, the year-by-year man was a very different person, a devoted civil servant, an eloquent orator, an excellent writer, a capable musician, and a ripe scholar who accumulated 3000 volumes--a large private library in those days--and had the public spirit to leave them all to his University. You can forgive old Pepys a good deal of his philandering when you remember that he was the only official of the Navy Office who stuck to his post during the worst days of the Plague. He may have been--indeed, he assuredly was--a coward, but the coward who has sense of duty enough to overcome his cowardice is the most truly brave of mankind."On the technical side, the Kindle version worked very well on my iPhone; it is well edited and the small screen encouraged me to read this book in the way I found most enjoyable -- in small bites separated by time and other readings.Robert C.
