Varn Andrew MacLean's ApocalyptiGirl is proof that style can move a comic a long way, but substance does really ground a comic. MacClean's art is interesting and the various conceptual apparatuses he lays on his story are also interesting. The character designs are strong and dynamic and the color work is very interesting. That said, while the concept of Aria, and even her relationship to Opera, is strong; her character is inconsistent and those inconsistencies are not justified by the plot. For those who feel that comics are bogged down by narrative techniques such as character development and self-consistency, I am sure this will be quite enjoyable. I, however, found plot felt incredibly rushed and did not earn it's metaphors or it's ending.

The story may be minimalist, but it succeeds where few comix do: It creates a future world you really feel is alive. It definitely leaves you "wanting more" too ... unlike so many that jabber in dialogue and fake "character development" scenes but end up saying nothing. THIS is one of my fav comix in a long time, a less-complex PROPHET but still very sci-fi trippy!

Dario es pasión y entrga By Maribel Diaz Reyes Me encanta esta historia de Dario donde lucha por nonenemorarse pero como esta chica le da vuelta a si vida sin él darse cuenta. Angel le dio paso a su amor en la 1ra parte y nos falta la 3ra de Raúl que la espero ansiosa. La familia de Dario tomo un giro distinto, el siguio sus sueños, lo logro y fue recompensado. Vanessa una gran mujer luchadora que apersar de la jugada de la vida , no se fia de los hombres , ni mucho menos del amor. La vida le tien una sorpresa, ella es la luz que le falta a Dario, la pi3za clave para que su familia vuelva a acogerlo como debió ser y matcara su vida para siempre.

By Linlinlin Si ya estaba enganchada con el primer libro, la historia de Vanessa y Darío no hizo más que agravar mi adicción!... Este libro es impresionante, me enamoré por completo de Darío, es un hombre que lucha por lo quiere y al que le gusta hacer las cosas bien, en definitiva, un buen hombre. Me gustó mucho como Juani describe la relación de ambos protagonistas con su pasado y con sus familias. Y me quedé con ganas de saber qué pasará con personajes secundarios, como Diana y Raúl, o Cris y Andrés!
