It has the font and the page layout of a term paper, not of a book. The spine is white (no title, no author, no information at all). The text has typos. Not recommended at all.

By saladmix First of all, for those of you who haven't tried to tackle Paul Chambers books before now, this is his best stuff. In general, he is a difficult read. To be completely honest; what makes this version so effective is what you can see (it's a graphic novel). Just reading a "text only" version of this book might take you a couple of rounds. However, INJ Culbard has made it so that you can completely digest it. What I had to read 3 times to comprehend, this book let's you engulf with "one" read. I'd recommend his other works also. He has broken down some of the more difficult Lovecraft and Sherlock Holmes stories. Some of what he tackles is all but un-filmable.

About the Author Roy William Thomas, Jr. is an American comic book writer and editor, who was Stan Lee's first successor as editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics. By volker o elsasser Here you have a wonderful book of a boy growing up in Heidelberg at the end of WW2, and into a more peaceful time. His is a reflection of a great love for a very romantic city, it's people and history and sights and sounds.... through the eyes of a dreamer.And if you were a member of the American armed forces, headquartered in Heidelberg and if you still speak a bit of German you would find many morcels of memories about the "locals"; the photos alone are worth the price of admission.The author's recounting of a kid's and his contemporaries' adventures is priceless, and the grown-ups rarely had an idea of what was going on below the surface of coping. Cheers
